ABOUT

Hello, I’m Ran Ernst. I’m this guy. The guy behind all the wacky characters and funny stories of Graveyard Elementary. It all started while doodling on my job(on my break of course, boss), I sketched a little monster character. He had these huge round glasses and six arms and I thought he would make an interesting character to develop. Then I thought what if I create a group of kid monsters. I could have them solve little mysteries at their elementary school? That could make a fun book for kids! So, the next day, I sketched out this little Frankenstein kid but I make him short and small for his age. Opposite of what you think of when you think of a big Frankenstein monster. He would soon become my main character, Franklin.

So who else would I need to fill out the group? Well Franklin had to have a best friend, so I drew this kid who became Hunter the werewolf. But what traits could Hunter have that would make him fun and interesting? What if I made him always eating something? Wolves are like dogs, they’re always hungry, that could be funny. He’s pulling snacks out of his backpack and always eating when he gets nervous.
